Post doc fellow
Stella Viscardi is a post-doc research fellow in the Logistics Research Group of Politecnico di Milano. Her research interests include the circular economy and sustainability, especially applied to the food sector.
After graduating in Food Engineering, she pursued a PhD in circular economy practices applied to food waste. In 2025, she defended her PhD thesis "Going Circular in the Food Sector: a Supply Chain Perspective on Food Waste Prevention and Valorization Practices", and obtained a PhD cum laude.
She believes that supply chain management and logistics in support of circular economy can create a more sustainable food system.
