Angela Tumino, Ph.D., is Associate Professor and lecturer in the courses of "Gestione dei sistemi logistici e produttivi" (Logistics and Production Systems Management) and "Production Systems".
She is co-founder of Geckomile, spinoff of Politecnico di Milano
She is co-founder of the B2c Logistics Center
She is the Director of the Internet of Things Observatory and scientific officer of the Smart City Observatory
She is a member of the Italian Association of Professors of Industrial Plants Design & Management (Associazione Italiana Docenti di Impianti Industriale - AIDI).

Research
Angela’s main research interests are related to ICT-driven innovation in Logistics and Supply Chain Management.
More specifically, she investigates the new challenges opened by B2c eCommerce, with specific attention being paid to last mile delivery, omnichannel and sustainability, with a triple bottom line approach.
Moreover, she investigates the opportunities related to IoT (Internet of Things) technologies in different fields, especially industrial-loT, smart homes, smart cities and mobility.
Finally, Visibility along complex supply chains and Supply Chain Finance were largely investigated in the previous years.
