Associate Professor

Vincenzo Butticè is an associate professor at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano.

His main research interests are Entrepreneurial Finance and Sustainable Finance.

Vincenzo is also a lecturer in Entrepreneurial Finance and Sustainable Finance at the Polimi Graduate School of Management.

He is the co-founder and executive manager of the Bureau of Entrepreneurial Finance (BEF).

Vincenzo has been a visiting scholar at the Copenhagen Business School, at the Indiana University Purdue University of Indiana, at ShanghaiTech University, and at Trinity College Dublin.

Career

Research

Vincenzo’s main research interests are in the area of entrepreneurial finance and climate finance.

His research is based on the analysis of large datasets, typically combining machine learning and natural language processing techniques with econometric analysis. He also integrates experimental studies to explore the causal mechanisms underlying the observed phenomena.
