Full Professor
Marco Macchi is Full Professor at the Politecnico di Milano, Dipartimento di Ingegneria Gestionale (Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering).
His teaching activity is in the area of production systems, industrial technologies, maintenance management and industrial asset management, operations management, smart manufacturing, both to undergraduate and postgraduate students (Bachelor and Master of Science level, as well as Master programs). He regularly teaches also for the doctorate program in Management Engineering, in the topic of modeling, data analysis and simulation of complex systems. His research interests are focused on several topics concerning the asset and operations management within engineered systems, with a special emphasis to industrial systems engineering and production systems and, more recently, to networked infrastructures.

- Digital Twins for asset and operations management.
