Giulia Piantoni is a Junior Assistant Professor in Management, at the Department of Management, Economics and Industrial Engineering, Politecnico di Milano. She is lecturer and responsible of the BSC course "Business Administration" (Organizzazione d'Impresa) for Energy Engineers. She also collaborates as a teching assistant and tutor for the MSc. course of Accounting, Finance and Control (Management Engineers).
She is part of the Internationalization Committee at the Department of Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering, being the Appointed Faculty Member for Finland, Norway and Sweden.
She takes part to multi-disciplinary research projects on sustainability and impact assessments.
Her main research interests and publication fields are on innovation ecosystems, sustainability, shared value creation strategies and impact assessments, sustainability reporting and ESG rating.

Research
Giulia Piantoni develops research activities on the following themes: innovation ecosystems and shared value creation, sustainability strategies at ecosystem level, ESG rating and impact assessments, advanced sustainability performance measurement and management.
She is an active member of the Impact Research Group at Politecnico di Milano and develops collaborations with international colleagues on topics related to sustainability in innovation ecosystems.
