Matteo is a research fellow at the Department of Management, Economics, and Industrial Engineering of Politecnico di Milano.

He works as a researcher at the Observatory of Artificial Intelligence and at the Observatory of Space Economy.

He holds a MSc in Economics from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart of Milan and the title of his final dissertation is "The Revenge of Peripheries: an empirical analysis of the growth of Italian populists".
