Francesca Bianchi is a PhD Candidate in Management Engineering at Politecnico di Milano.

Her field of research is product design for human centric, resilient and sustainable supply chains.

She first explored some aspects of product design with a thesis focusing on Design for Disassembly techniques at the School of Architecture.

Her journey continued at the School of Engineering, where she stretched her knowledge attending courses in production management and supply chain management.

Now, she has the opportunity to take a look at the subject matter through a multidisciplinary approach, at first from a design-centric perspective and then within an industrial context.
