Elena Madiai is a PhD Candidate exploring the theme Gender and Urban Spaces. She is enrolled in an interdisciplinary program at Politecnico of Milan between the Management Engineering and the Urban, planning, design and policy PhD courses.

She has previously worked for both the private sector and the academia on projects about digital innovation in the Public Administration and policy evaluation.
