Alessandro is a Post-doc at the School of Management at Politecnico di Milano, where he also works as a researcher in the Space Economy Observatory.
He investigates the space industry value chain transition, its impacts on non-space sectors, and the value generated by complex space projects. Alessandro Paravano's research thrives at the intersection of Project Management, Systems Engineering, and the Space Economy, offering a fresh perspective on the transformative socio-economic value of complex space projects.
He study project ecologies as complex systems, modelling the relationships between actors in shaping project value.
His main research lines include complex project business, value chain transition, project governance, complex project value and success, space economy, satellite-based business and commercial space stations.
He adopts both qualitative and quantitative methods.
